POWER FOR DAILY LIVING DEVOTIONAL - SUNDAY 19TH APRIL 2020 TOPIC:DEFINE YOUR DIRECTIONTEXT:MATTHEW 15:22

The woman of Canaan was troubled because her daughter was “grievously vexed by the devil”. If the devil hijacks a life, home or business shame will be the order of the day. The good thing is that the woman knew the best place to go for deliverance. She went to Jesus with a request but the Master answered her not a word. As if
that was not enough, the disciples also besought Jesus to send her away. Yet this woman did not give the disciples attention as she stayed steadfast on Jesus. When the Lord finally answered the woman, He
said, “ I am sent but unto the lost sheep of Israel,” yet she worshipped Him. Can you still worship God when your breakthrough looks like a breakdown?. While pressing further for help, Jesus told the woman, “it is not meat to take the children’s bread and to cast it to dogs” She accepted her status and further pleaded her case that the dogs can eat crumbs which fall from their masters’ table. The woman would have gone away in anger if she did not humble herself to wait on the Lord to heal her daughter. Define your direction.
