One of the things that the Jews did to humiliate Jesus during crucifixion was to set an inscription with wrong accusation over His head.

Anything placed over your

head is more visible and noticeable. The inscription

reads, “THIS IS JESUS, THE 

KING OF THE JEWS. Anyone can bear Jesus but not JESUS CHRIST. So, the Jews expunge Christ from His 

name in order to humiliate Him as a common citizen….etc
