POWER FOR DAILY LIVING DEVOTIONAL - MONDAY 13TH APRIL 2020 TOPIC:WHOLE HEARTED DEVIATIONTEXT:MARK 16:9
Jesus had 12 active
disciples and 70 dominant
disciples yet He chose a
woman, Mary Magdalene to be
the first herald of His
resurrection. It is also worth noting that the women were the last of Jesus’ followers at the cross and the first at the tomb.
Mary had courage that many of the men did not have when Jesus was crucified. She stood by Him through it
all. In fact, the bible records that after Jesus was crucified, Mary observed where He was laid – Mark 15:47. She waited as they took His crucified body from the cross, wrapped and placed it in a tomb that belonged to Joseph of Arimathea. And her love was rewarded.
The Lord rewards consistency in service. In Jeremiah 29:13, God assures “… ye shall seek me and
find me when you shall search for me with all your heart.” Let this season stir up revival in your spirit. Seek the Lord more. Take time to read more of God’s word and
wait upon the Lord. Reciprocate His love towards you through giving and God will reveal Himself, truth and
secret to you. Have a blessed day as you give people around you this devotional as parts of your Easter gifts.
