represents dryness, scarcity and poverty. That particular famine was a familiar one. Each time it happened, it tend to take that lineage downward. For example, Abraham went down to Egypt as a result of famine in Genesis 12:10. Isaac was about to go down to the same place but God interrupted his move. The famine was meant to ridicule Isaac whose name means laughter…..ETC
