POWER FOR DAILY LIVING DEVOTIONAL - WEDNESDAY 22ND APRIL 2020
TOPIC: BE POSITIONEDTEXT: 1 KINGS 17:3-4
Before Elijah heard the sound of abundance of rain, he was being feed by raven at Brook Cherith. He was eating balance diets – bread and flesh, morning and
evening. At the same time, there
were prophets who were kept in the cave, fifty by fifty; and were fed with bread and water by Obadiah. The difference between Elijah and other prophets was that Elijah was living at the mercy of God while the rest were at man’s mercy.
It takes positioning at the right place to hear the right information. There were many brooks in Israel but God sent Elijah to brook Cherith where He has already commanded the raven to feed the warring Prophet. When the brook dried up and the raven was no longer coming, God went ahead to command the widow of Zarephath to feed him. So, the Prophet had a swell and good time in the midst of famine. If you are in your right location, God will reallocate your allocation to your location. So, be wise and be positioned.
DAILY PRAYER POINTS:
1. I will never be at the mercy of man, Lord show me your
mercy and mantle me with favour.
2. Father, reallocate my allocation to my location.
